Membership is comprised primarily of, but is not restricted to, members of the University of Oxford.
Membership fees are £10 per year, £5 per term, or £1 per meeting, to be paid directly to the treasurer.
Membership benefits include free attendance of meetings, the possibility of dining with the speaker before talks, and a 33% discount on The Chronicle, the journal published once a term by the Society.
